Frequently Asked Questions
How Structured and Formal is the Worship Service?
If you're like many of us who would rather not dress up in our "Sunday best," we're happy to tell you that life at the Voyage is very casual. We are a community of people from all walks of life who just so happens to believe in the transforming love of God. This means that you don't have to dress a certain way or meet a certain "standard" before you join us in worship. Just as God loves you despite what you've done, and even what you may look like, so do we...and we mean it!
When Do I Come?
Our services are on Sunday mornings and begin at 9:15 and 10:45. If you're running a bit late, no need to worry. Feel free to come and go when you must. Services at the Voyage typically last just over an hour and are made up of 15 -20 minutes of praise and celebration and 30-40 minutes of teaching from one of our pastors.
What About My Kids?
For those with babies through the age of two, we have a fully-staffed nursery located downstairs during our second service at 10:45. If you have kids three years of age or older, we have a children's ministry that we call Voyage Kids led by a great team of teachers each week! For those in 6th through 12th grade, we have Voyage Teens on an every other week rotation. As a precaution, all of our childcare workers have been screened and have completed a background check. Please Note: Voyage Kids and Voyage Teens is only available during our 10:45 service.
